All donations are tax deductible.

Lourdes Foundation has grown to become an important and vital source of support for Lourdes High School.  Part of what makes LHS what it is today – an exceptional learning institution within a value based Catholic Christian environment – is because of the ongoing financial donations of our many benefactors.

Every gift has an immediate impact on the current and future students of Lourdes, and in turn impacts the next generation of leaders in our community and the world.  Here are some ways you can contribute:

Contribute to the Annual Appeal

Our goal this year is twofold, to reach our dollar amount of $100,000.00, which we hope to exceed with your help. We are accepting donations as we anticipate a greater call for help in the 2010-2011 school years.

Our equally as important goal is to increase our donor numbers by 50% or 600 donors.  Please help us make or even break this second important goal.   Click here for a message from LFI Executive Director, Tim Sitzer.

Establish a named scholarship.

Scholarship endowments have been an integral part of the Lourdes Foundation mission since its founding in 1974.  For the 2009-2010 school year more than 85 scholarships were awarded for a grand total of over $100,000 in tuition assistance.  Scholarships can be established as memorial or tribute for a variety of reasons – in honor of your entire family or for a specific family member, in celebration of a life achievement, or perhaps to honor a faculty member who influenced you as an LHS student.  Getting a scholarship started is a very simple process.  To view our scholarship brochure:  click here

Join the Round Table.

The Round Table is a group of people who have made arrangements to remember Lourdes Foundation through an estate bequest or planned gift.  Many of these can be structured so that the estate and heirs gain a tax advantage.  Your tax professional or attorney can assist you in determining the best option for you to pursue.

Contact the Foundation office for more information.

Donate on line

Donate on-line anytime of day or night.

Give an undesignated gift to the endowment.

Write a check and slip it into the donor envelope inside each edition of the Aquila or in the Annual Appeal mailing sent out each November.

Give stock.

Appreciated securities, if held long-term, avoid capital gains tax as they transfer at their fair market value of the date of the gift.

Give real estate.

Ones home, vacation property, rental unit, or business location may be an ideal asset for a charitable gift.

Make Lourdes Foundation a life insurance beneficiary.

Consider a paid up policy no longer needed to protect one’s family or naming the school as successor beneficiary should the named beneficiary die before the insured.

Establish a revocable trust fund.

Name Lourdes Foundation as one of the beneficiaries – you retain all of your assets, but Lourdes Foundation receives funds after the trust benefits you and your family.
